Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ كِتَٰبٞ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٞ لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ وَكَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ يَسۡتَفۡتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُواْ كَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۚ فَلَعۡنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ [٨٩]
89 Lorsque leur fut apporté, de la part d’Allah, un livre confirmant leurs propres Ecritures, ils le rejetèrent et traitèrent le Messager d’imposteur. Ils attendaient pourtant l’avènement d’un prophète, dont ils connaissaient parfaitement la description, qui les ferait triompher des païens. Que la malédiction d’Allah poursuive donc les mécréants[47] !
