Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسۡرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثۡخِنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ [٦٧]
Es steht keinem Propheten zu, Gefangene zu haben, bis er (den Feind überall) im Land schwer niedergekämpft hat. Ihr wollt Glücksgüter des Diesseitigen, aber Allah will das Jenseits. Allah ist Allmächtig und Allweise.
