Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ خَرَجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ وَهُمۡ أُلُوفٌ حَذَرَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مُوتُواْ ثُمَّ أَحۡيَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَشۡكُرُونَ [٢٤٣]
(ऐ नबी!) क्या आपने उन लोगों को नहीं देखा जो मौत के भय से अपने घरों से निकले[159], जबकि वे कई हज़ार थे, तो अल्लाह ने उनसे कहा कि मर जाओ, फिर उन्हें जीवित कर दिया। निःसंदेह अल्लाह लोगों पर बड़े अनुग्रह वाला है, लेकिन अधिकांश लोग शुक्रिया अदा नहीं करते।[160]
