निःसंदेह हमने इस (क़ुरआन) को क़द्र की रात (महिमा वाली रात) में उतारा।
और आपको क्या मालूम कि क़द्र की रात क्या है?
क़द्र की रात हज़ार महीनों से उत्तम है।[1]
उसमें फ़रिश्ते तथा रूह (जिबरील) अपने पालनहार की अनुमति से हर आदेश के साथ उतरते हैं।[2]
वह रात फ़ज्र उदय होने तक सर्वथा सलामती (शांति) है।[3]
