ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتۡرَاۖ كُلَّ مَا جَآءَ أُمَّةٗ رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُۖ فَأَتۡبَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُم بَعۡضٗا وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَحَادِيثَۚ فَبُعۡدٗا لِّقَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ [٤٤]
പിന്നെ നാം നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്മാരെ തുടരെത്തുടരെ അയച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ഓരോ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലും അവരിലേക്കുള്ള ദൂതന് ചെല്ലുമ്പോഴൊക്കെ അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. അപ്പോള് അവരെ ഒന്നിനുപുറകെ മറ്റൊന്നായി നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അവരെ നാം സംസാരവിഷയമാക്കിത്തീര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ആകയാല് വിശ്വസിക്കാത്ത ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് (അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന്) വിദൂരത!
