إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ [٣٥]
അല്ലാഹു അല്ലാതെ ആരാധനക്കർഹനായി മറ്റാരുമില്ല എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ടാല് അവര് അഹങ്കാരം നടിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
