Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِن يَنتَهُواْ يُغۡفَرۡ لَهُم مَّا قَدۡ سَلَفَ وَإِن يَعُودُواْ فَقَدۡ مَضَتۡ سُنَّتُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ [٣٨]
[ای پیامبر،] به کسانی که کفر ورزیدند بگو [که] اگر [از شرک و دشمنی] دست بردارند، گذشته‌هایشان بخشوده می‌شود و[لی] اگر [به رفتار گذشتۀ خود] بازگردند، سنت [و عذاب الهى كه در مورد] پیشینیان گذشت [تكرار خواهد شد].
