(ਹੇ ਨਬੀ!) ਆਖ ਦਿਓ ਕਿ ਹੇ (ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ) ਇਨਕਾਰੀਓ!
ਮੈਂ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ (ਬੁਤਾਂ) ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।
ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ (ਇੱਕੋ ਅੱਲਾਹ) ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ।
ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
(ਸੋ) ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੀਨ (ਧਰਮ) ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਦੀਨ।
