Surah The Story [Al-Qasas] Ayah 88 Location Maccah Number 28
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡنَا لَا يُرۡجَعُونَ [٣٩]
39਼ ਇਸ (ਫ਼ਿਰਔਨ) ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨੇ (ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ) ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਨਾ-ਹੱਕਾ ਤਕੱਬਰ (ਘਮੰਡ) ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
