Surah The Bee [An-Nahl] Ayah 128 Location Maccah Number 16
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖ نَّحۡنُ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ فَهَلۡ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ [٣٥]
35. Y los idólatras dicen: “Si Al-lah hubiera querido, ni nosotros ni nuestros antepasados habríamos adorado a nadie fuera de Al-lah y no habríamos prohibido nada sin Su permiso[456]”. Quienes los precedieron también desmintieron a sus mensajeros; pero a estos solo les corresponde transmitir el mensaje (de su Señor).
