Surah The Cow [Al-Baqara] Ayah 286 Location Madanah Number 2
وَدَّ كَثِيرٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَوۡ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ إِيمَٰنِكُمۡ كُفَّارًا حَسَدٗا مِّنۡ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَٱعۡفُواْ وَٱصۡفَحُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ [١٠٩]
109. Muchos de entre quienes recibieron las Escrituras (judíos y cristianos) quisieran, por envidia, que renegaran de la fe volviendo a la incredulidad tras habérseles evidenciado la verdad. Mas perdónenlos y no tengan en cuenta lo que hacen hasta que llegue la orden de Al-la. En verdad, Al-lah es Todopoderoso.
