Surah The Forgiver [Ghafir] Ayah 85 Location Maccah Number 40
ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّهُۥٓ إِذَا دُعِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُۥ كَفَرۡتُمۡ وَإِن يُشۡرَكۡ بِهِۦ تُؤۡمِنُواْۚ فَٱلۡحُكۡمُ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡعَلِيِّ ٱلۡكَبِيرِ [١٢]
(Se les responderá): “Este (castigo) es porque cuando se los llamaba a adorar solamente a Al-lah, se negaban; mientras que cuando (Al-lah) era equiparado con otras divinidades, creían en ellas (y las adoraban). Suya es la decisión, y Él es el Excelso, el más Grande.
