Surah Repentance [At-Taubah] Ayah 129 Location Madanah Number 9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَا لَكُمۡ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ فَمَا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ [٣٨]
38. ¡Oh, creyentes!, ¿por qué cuando se les dice que salgan a luchar por la causa de Al-lah sienten pereza (y no quieren abandonar sus hogares)? ¿Acaso prefieren esta vida terrenal a la eterna? Mas los bienes y los placeres de esta vida son escasos comparados con los de la vida que les espera.
